The lockerrooms are much newer than LNC. They were built when the practice facilities and new coaches offices were built.

you have to remember that is the visitors locker room. They are very rarely nice in college basketball

Nick Thompson?

Yeah, I wondered where he was. Why he wasn't celebrating with his teamates. So I looked back at the DVR of the game. I noticed that when Pledger was hitting those big threes late in the game, including the one to put it into OT everybody on the bench was jumping up and down screaming except Nick Thompson who was sitting on the bench with his arms crossing not saying a word. He never even reacted when big shots or big plays were being made.

The dude is supposed to be the fricking captain. If he doesnt care and isn't rooting for this team or is rooting for them to fail since he's no longer getting to play, I think Capel should just kick him off the team right now. Because he's already not really a part of his if he's not playing and doesn't cheer for his teamates.

I wonder if his coaches noticed that he wasn't cheering and didn't let him celebrate in the locker room? Or maybe he just moped his way in so he wasn't there yet during the celebration.

That is a little harsh. I am sure it is very frustrating to be so close to a dream coming true (playing in the Big XII) and then struggling. Hopefully he will find a way to contribute even if he doesn't get major minutes.

You are probably right. It just made me sick to see him sulking during one of the best moments of the season. It reminded me less of this team and more of the way Ray Willis acted last year. Ray's sulking spread to Kyle Cannon and others he was around. One guy can be a disease that spreads to the rest of the team and I dont want to see Tyler Neal, or Calvin Newell (two guys that sit next to Thompson on the bench a lot) to start acting that way too.
