I did not pick OU in the contest but I actually think this is a decent upset pick. KSU will likely have a let down after the huge win over KU. If it was anyone but OU, KSU or ISU I think I would have taken the road team.

I would be more inclined to agee with you if it was a quick turnaround game for K-State. However, with Martin having the guys in practice for four straight days I believe he'll get his team ready for an inferior opponent. Their physical play is going to be tough to deal with.

I agree Camp. If it was a saturday-monday turnaround i would have been all over us winning

He knows they have to come out swinging against us, I'm sure they had a light practice Tuesday but really got after it on Wednesday and Thursday. Gotta keep Pullen in check, going to be tough to do.

Any want to bet OU beats KSU? I could use the money.

kstate had a normal practice tuesday, didn't practice wed. and returned to normal practices thurs and today.

I bet they win by at least 15.

There won't be a let down because they are still in a "must win" situation. They know how important this game is, and are gonna bring their A game.

Crowd in Manhattan is going to be as loud as any crowd our team has seen this year. GIA was barely half-full, and Texas bball fans are like OU bball fans -- not very loud. KSU sells out most games and the octagon of doom (or whatever they call it) can get very loud.

we have a better chance of beating kansas at home than beating ksu in manhattan

KSU 75
OU 55

Curtis Kelly inside and their pressure defense is a bad matchup for us, even in Norman.

Disagree big time.

I disagree. I think both are somewhere around a 0% chance.

Here's how I see our chances in the remaining games.

OSU in Norman 50%
Tech in Lubbock 25%
A&M at A&M 10%
KU in Norman 0%
KSU in Manhattan 0%

That Nebraska loss was crushing.

I'm afraid the NU loss will take some of our fight out of us. I suspect we'd be more apt to have a "let-down" effort than KSU would.

When I went to OU games the crowd was very loud and nothing like UT crowds.

I disagree. They are playing to get in the tourney. They need every win and they may have a shot. A loss to a bad team like OU would really hurt them.
