Interesting that if people on this board don't agree with Oliver Hardy or SoonerNorm they get band. I read both of their post and neither was offensive. In fact Oliver Hardy's comments were more negative and attacking than either JGSpider or DarthSooner yet that they get booted and here is Oliver Hardy and SoonerNorm still on the board. I have also seen SoonerNorm use offense language but yet still here. I still have a post that I copied from Oliver Hardy from 3 years ago that should have banned him for life not only on this board but from OU womens basketball games. Yet again he is still here because of favortized sensorship. Perhaps other actions should now be taken with that post. Oh, I guess I will be the next one banned for speaking up.
I would guess you are in your mid 50s if you graduated from OU in 81. If so, you should be embarrassed about how immature your post above sounds. Simply, act your age if for no other reason than for the benefit of other posters on this site.
To the OP, I don't think you make any changes this season, unless you just sit the seniors to prepare for next year and that wouldn't be fair to the seniors.
After the season is over a change of some sort in the coaching staff, for sure. I think the development of both guards and forwards in this program hasn't been very good. Look back at the Paris twins, they did not improve over 4 years. Look at Griner, she definitely improved. Olajuwon improved over one season but most of that was because she finally got a chance to play. Look at Griffin, she is still as clumsy as she was 3 years ago, if her skills have improved it's been by a very slim amount.
As for guards, look at Ellenberg, she's a scorer but she still makes freshman mistakes. Now look at Odyssey Sims, she has improved 5 times over her freshman year. Most of the teams in our conference, their players improve while ours seem to stay at status quo.
This to me is a problem. I'm not sure that replacing one asst coach will rectify it but maybe it will send a message to the others to work a little harder.
