Will Jennings catches up with 2012 target Jarion Henry.

Also a few other notes.

Update

Honest question, can this kid pass college classes?

I interviewed Henry a year ago about this time and he came away from yesterday's interview a totally different person. Overall, he seemed like a much more mature person. My only guess is he may be humbled by his experiences not qualifying and not getting the recruiting interest he deserved last year. If so, his maturing may translate into be a better student.

Also, I'm sure there will be things set up in the athletic department as far as tutoring to help him if he needs it.

A good person from within the program (paid OU employee, works with the bball team) said that they feel he will end up a Sooner!!!!

The vast majority of humans can pass college classes if they put forth the effort. You have to go to class, pay attention during class, read the book and review the material before the test. If you do this, you will not only pass you will actually make respectable grades. The problem many people have is they make choices like skipping class, not paying attention when the go (perhaps the dumbest thing I ever did in college - why go if you are not going to pay attention), not reading the book and then craming for the test at the last second. Not surprisingly, when I made these decisions I made below average grades. When I did it the right way, I made good grades.

I usually go by if a kid is struggling to qualify out of high school, odds are he is going to struggle in college. High school is an absolute joke.
