Question for William re: Goff

Have we heard anything about Goff's intentions for next year? Is he considering other options or is he waiting to see what coach we hire? We can definitely use him next year for depth if nothing else. Have any of you guys spoken to him since Capel was let go?

Not William but I heard from some folks that Rob will still be a Sooner. He is already very close with several on the team including Romero.

Have you heard anything about academics with Goff?

I hope what you say is true. I don't expect him to be a program changer but if he can play defense, rebound and alter a few shots he will help us next year.

Coach Goodman was on the ref today and said the ncaa has modified the release rules making it harder for a kid to change his mind and opt out of his loi. Thinks Robert is a good athlete and will give the team what it lacked last season, rebounding. Said he needed to work on his skills. Team needs another ball handler and was close to getting one when Capel fired. Also Osby very athletic.

Maybe Capel should have gotten that ball handler last year?
