Anyone here not on twitter?

For those of you who are, do you find yourself one there more than on message boards nowadays?

I check Twitter about as often as I do this message board. Relative to activity (new info, updates, etc.) I'm on Twitter about twice as much I'd say.

I'm on Twitter, but don't use it much. I MUCH prefer message boards. I'm too long winded to get much use out of Twitter.

As far as getting breaking news, I probably get more of it from FB, than Twitter.

I'm on twitter constantly, facebook is dominated by pictures of kids and recipes. Plus, I talk lots of politics and twitter is the best for that sort of thing.
And nothing beats twitter during a live event like the Super Bowl, or to get news faster than CNN ever dreamed.
(I'm @Steverocks35 BTW)

I'm a twittering fool! I'm up to 13 tweets now. :ez-laugh:

I spend a lot more time on fan boards than twitter. I depend on guys like CoachTalk for my twitter news. He's an expert at it. I just learned how to post a picture last week. :facepalm

Your comment motivated me to check how many tweets I've had. I'm almost ashamed to say that it's 25,900. Doesn't seem possible.

I check twitter more, this is the only message board I check regularly.

I am definitely on twitter more than message boards. Although like here I am more of a reader than tweeter. Are you looking to make a change with this site?

I'm on twitter a lot but I'm on here a lot as well!

I admit I do find myself there more than boards, but I still spend a lot of time on boards. I do agree with WT that I'd tweet more if there was a bit more room.

I do love the fact that recruiting info/tidbits can be garnered much easier from the players. I bet the guys who run the premium sites cringe every time a player commits via a tweet, and they can't claim to have broken the story.

The day I really realized I was a twitter lean over boards was on signing day. The Rivals boards were down, but it didn't matter because twitter was on fire with updates etc.

Oh no. Unless someone wants to buy me out. LOL. I was just curious about the topic. I try and put the same types of links to OU basketball related stuff on Twitter that I do here.

I find Twitter is much more work -- you have to keep following new people, and you have to keep an eye on it all day and night (or be willing to scroll way, way back to see what you might have missed).

Unless I'm doing it wrong, which is entirely possible -- even though I handle all the social media for my employer, so I really ought to have it down reasonably well by now. We focus more on FB and Pinterest, though we do tweet a lot, too.

I use twitter as a news feed of sorts, rarely express opinions on it. I thought your tweet about a ND State player proposing to a cheerleader after they beat us was quite funny.

I found that setting up lists makes the scrolling much much more tolerable. I have list entitled "sports" with all my sports follows there. Others are entitled "News" and "politics". It definitely makes twitter a much less mind-boggling experience.

How do you do that??

This, I use Twitter to follow multiple sources and find articles/info I want to read about. I also still love this board, totally different entities. Twitter should be used to drive traffic here.

On the twitter website click the gear when you are on the profile of another user and select add to list

That's a good idea. I haven't dabbled with lists very much, but that sounds like a very good use for them.
