Reaves a Sooner

I talked to Gregg Marshall Monday and he definitely did not want to lose Reaves! He was shocked and disappointed when he decided to leave WSU. We got a good kid and player.

Definitely agree about Reaves. I’m also sold on Calixte and Reynolds. Calixte is an upgrade to run our offense. No way I wanted to go into next season with Shepherd at that position. To me, that’s the bottom line in evaluating our grad trsnsfer at the point.

As for Reynolds, I think he’ll be a more than an adequate back up at the point, plus he is versatile enough to add to our depth by swinging to the two? I like them all for a variety of reasons.

Is it muuuuuch better than it could've been? Absolutely.

Yes. Calixte and Reynolds aren't stars but they are solid players who will fit right in with what we have returning. I think what we lost in terms of talent we will make up for in terms of depth, experience, and leadership. And then Reaves adds a lot the next 2 years.

Buddy came in as a hustler, energy guy and worked his butt off to become an elite shooter. He's a good D1 athlete, average for NBA.

I'd say Reeves is a slightly better playmaking version of Mike Neal.

I am not the one assuming he isnt a good athlete. The quote I commented on did. I just pointed out that people need to not assume he isnt an athlete. I am on twitter
