Duke - 8-1
KU - 8-3
OU - 8-4

No one else has played double digit games against RPI top50. Those three games against creighton, WU, and Kansas state will be the only things that keep us from getting a three seed or better...i think we can still get there with a blistering big 12 finish, but if not, we can look back at three one possession games/

If OU finishes strong, no one will care about Creighton/UW/K-State.

A win at Hilton cancels out all of those losses.

That's a tall order. The chickenhawks couldn't get it done there. However, for this team, it's not undo-able.

I don't expect it to happen, but it could.

People keep harping on the those three losses, as of right now, do they matter? Sure, but with a couple of wins, no committee member is going to care. OU isn't getting docked 2-3 seeds because we lost on the road to Creighton in November.

Remember the year Capel took the Sooners to Ames and blew the Cyclones out of the gym? Can't recall the exact year, but no one – NO ONE – gave the Sooners much of a chance, since they were already starting to lose regularly and ISU was pretty good. I do recall we could hardly miss from 3-point range and wound up winning by double digits.

I don't recall that. The best win for OU in Ames in since 1984 are two 10 point wins. One was 2003 the other was 2009

All of this data is available at Soonerstats.com If you don't use that website you should.

I remember the year we beat them in OT I think? Pledger scored something like 38.

Perhaps I've lost my mind (distinct possibility). I must have been thinking about that overtime win, because I do remember Pledger going crazy, as you mentioned. I have no idea why I thought we won by double digits.

Because we had a double digit lead, then we stopped making 3's and choked it away.... it is this infamous game ISU fan mocking Capel game in 2011 (The first road victory since Utah the previous season)

Right you are, ks. I remember that goofy Cyclone fan mimicking Capel. I believe Capel was arguing a call with an official at the time. The fan looked to be a middle age man – not a college student. I thought it was one of the most classless displays I've ever seen from a fan. Capel may not have been a great coach, but he certainly didn't deserve that.

One game at a time. Let's win today and not get ahead of ourselves.
