Recruiting - Can someone provide an update

Agreed. ouleopard has proven to be a reliable source of information about OU basketball for a very long time. He definitely gets my attention with every post he makes!

Thanks, too, to Traveler and his update regarding OU's interest in the juco point guards. OUHoops is fortunate to have several posters who bring good information to this board from time to time. Traveler, CoachTalk and vbdad are three that come immediately to mind. I apologize in advance to those I might have missed.
 
Thanks Traveler. It just doesn't make sense to me that OU wouldn't sign a PG with this recruiting class. PP or bust. If they don't get him then wait until Trae next year. A juco PG would be good to backup Woodard the year after next, and then he could backup Trae as he takes over for a year. Of course if they get PP they really don't need a juco PG this year. Maybe next.

We have 5 ships to give out this year. 3 more after Doolittle and McGusty. One of those has to go to a PG. of course maybe James or McGusty can play the point.

What is the likelihood OU can get Trae Young since he and super 6'9" forward Michael Porter Jr announced they want to be a package deal? Porter is ranked #2 in the 2017 class and has added OU to his list of 17 schools.
