Report: Oklahoma State to the PAC 10

From Jake Trotter's twitter.

From the Oklahoman: OSU booster Boone Pickens: "We're in" -- if Big 12 exodus to Pac-10 happens. “It cost us, but we’re in.”

TMZ sure does like reporting about sports in the state of Oklahoma.

What the hell could it have cost? Forget I asked, just glad it is oSu and not Baylor.

Had to donate the rest of the 'Cowboys4ever' shirts to a charity of the Pac 10's choice. Lost a lot of revenue.

Wouldn't it be funny if O-State, Colorado, A&M and Tech all accepted invitations to the Pac 10, then OU and Texas came out the next day and announced they are headed to the SEC?

I know. It likely could never happen, but it would be funny nonetheless. I realize most of our (football) fans are scared to death of the SEC, but I personally believe that conference would be a better fit for OU than the Pac 10.

I actually think this is a reference to how much money it cost to renovate the football stadium, as well as the recent donation he made to beef up the school's academics. If OSU still uses Lewis Field, they're praying for a MWC invite.

Who cares what OSU does, honestly I hope now OU goes to SEC. It's not the first time two major univ. in the state were separated. (Ie. Iowa State, Colorado, Florida, etc)

Im sure by monday OU, Texas, tech, & a&m will all announce or have reports leaked saying htey are joining the Pac - 10. oSu might have leaked it first but that doesnt mean they were the first to decide to follow CU.

I think it's a plan by the PAC 10 to 100% ensure that Baylor doesn't get in. The only two schools that Baylor would have a chance of replacing are CU and OSU. So, if those two go public, than Baylor is just plain out of luck.

It's easy to know what it cost them. I'm sure the revenue sharing agreement is more slanted than even the Big XII agreement.

OSU & Texas Tech are probably even capped at their Big XII revenue share adjusted for inflation.

I really, really like this Scott guy, just another smart play on his part....we are going from however many years of bumbling idiots to a REAL conference commissioner. I know, Weiberg is part of this deal, but I expect he is in a basement office or something. Bebee BETTER NOT have a job.

I am sure the sheep that do talk in Stillwater have a lot more secrets to share...:facepalm
