In view of the talent they bring in, I agree 100%. I have said the same thing for three years or more.

Thing is, Barnes was thought to be one of the best coaches in the conference once, at least by some posters. I have a feeling that was because he's a great recruiter, with very little thought given to the fact that he typically underachieves with the players he brings in.

To me it's the type of players he's brought in. Kinda like Sampson , give him the best talent he had ever had and he two of his worst seasons .
Barnes would do better at a program where he has a bunch of 4 year players with some transfers mixed in.
McDonald's all Americans and him don't mix .
Ford could screw up a wet dream . Nba talent or just good college players , he's bad with both.

TCU's honestly competing more than they should. They aren't any good but I'm not sure their coaching is the reason for it.

I dont recall Kelvin having anywhere near the talent that Barnes has had. Also Barnes has said that texass approves every ref that serves texass games!!!
