Been to one, back in February of '79. OU lost that one, but pummeled the Beakers in the Big 8 tourney finals in KC. OU also won the Big 8 regular season title by two games over K-State and by four over the underachievers in Blue.

Win or lose, I'm sure no OU fan has left the Phog believing the Birdies had any respect for OU's team, coaches, tradition, or even the university.

I've also seen two games at K-State, when they played at Ahearn Fieldhouse. OU lost in OT in 1978 and won in 1980. And the Kansas Aggies didn't respect us much either, going into those games.

I have been to 3 or 4 OU/KU games there and will also be there tomorrow. I have also been to a few non-OU games there. Easier for me, since I live in the KC area.

I have seen OU beat KU several times in Norman and conference tournaments but, unfortunately, I have never seen us win at the Phog during the games I attended there.

I don't expect a win tomorrow either but am looking forward to the game. My concern is how well we take care of the ball. Does KU get turnovers from us off "reaches" (AKA "fouls") as usually occurs there? We have not protected the ball well enough against pressure the past 2 games and we will need to be much better tomorrow. We have to be strong with the basketball!

I believe we will compete well and probably compete throughout the game if we limit turnovers. I am hoping we can surprise them a bit. I could see anything from a 1-point win to a 15-point loss happening. I predict about an 8-point loss.

I went in 02, both teams ended up in the Final Four. We got down a ton in the second half. It had to be close to 20 but Ebi shot us back in the game. Got it to 6 with 3 min left but couldn't get closer.

I remember how bad Ace was that day. I think he fouled out. After that game he might have been the best player in the country. Remarkable run.

As far as the Phog - I walked up to the "barn" thinking "is this it"?? Those thoughts quickly changed as soon as I stepped foot inside. It deserves all the praise it gets.

Been to the "phog" twice...

once for a non-conference joke game in 03, and then I went to Late Night in 08

Went in 2006. OU was up big and the friend I'm with says "its too bad we're beating them so badly. I wanted to hear what this place could do." 20-0 KU run ensues and the Phog became the loudest arena I'd been in. I think we lost by 2 or 3. (Game 6 of last years Thunder-Spurs series has since taken over for loudest game experience) Also, Rock Chalk will give anyone with a pulse the chills the first time they hear it in the Phog.

will be my first visit. didnt realize how easy the drive is. think i'll be making this trip until we finally pull off a win.

It's definitely a cool venue (been 5 times), but the home cooking and arrogance of the fans will quickly have you thinking twice about coming to a game again.

I have been several times (being up here in KC). It is a very cool place to watch a game. I had crap seats one time, so I snuck down to the KU student section with my buddies. Needlessly to say, I had some choice words sent my way b/c I was in my OU gear. It was fun none the less.

And.....I would say they respect us in basketball more than we respect them in football. Everyone up here remembers when OU was good. Hopefully, they will be reminded of that again very soon.

I have lived in Hutchinson for 7 years, by only got to my first game this year. I took my Father-in-law to go see them take on San Jose State. He loves the Jayhawks. The one thing that impressed me was that it was a late Monday Noght game right after thanksgiving against a mid major... Yet the place was packed. It was a great environment. However, I hope we take that great crowd and shut em up with a OU win today! Also you the KU memrobilla was pretty sweet.

Yea, I've been 5 times. Only once for an OU game and that was the FF year. The other times I went as a KU "fan" in the student section with my brother who went there.

Just an unreal experience all the way around. Regardless of rivalries, biases, blood, etc. it's the finest place in the country to watch basketball at any level. And really, an argument could be made that it's the best place to watch a sporting event anywhere in America. You really can't know until you're there.

With that said, I'd love to see a good game today and surprise the hell outta them. We are due!
