Rumor???

For some reason my gut tells me grades have something to do with this.

I havent heard, seen, or have any reason to believe that is true. Thats just my gut feeling as to why TJ Taylor hasnt stepped on the court all year.

I assure you grades are not involved. My understanding of the info I got from my source is this has to do with an interpersonal dynamic. That's all I know, but I wanted to comment on the grades thing before it became rumor-truth somehow.

Yes, they can. Concussion symptoms from severe concussions can keep players sidelined for 12-18 months. ESPN Magazine just did an article about it.

how many concussions have you had in your life? I can attest that affects can linger for a while. on my 4th, it took me 5 months before i got over light sensitivity

All right doctors, take it easy with your medical opinion. Our one source on this situation says it is interpersonal, meaning between the player in question and someone else. If it's another player then someone in charge should be doing what they can to control the clashing - seems unlikely because a top 100 recruit has been on hiatus for months. If it's a coach? Well when I got home last night I had to sleep in the bed I made. Coaches who can't keep players have rocks for pillows until they no longer wake up at that school.

If Taylor does leave, OU needs to sign someone that can contribute....can't afford to sign another player that sits on the bench.
