Taylor is still on the roster on SS. If he was gone why he would he not be taken off like Ahmed?
because Capel hasn't said anything publicly yet

alexann yancy (sp?) was off the roster on ss.com before sherri said anything publicly...
Maybe what this lack of info means is that Taylor has not actually been taken off the team. If he's being disciplined by Capel, or even if he's telling his friends/family that he wants out, maybe there's a chance that some 11th hour compromise can be reached and he'll remain a Sooner after all.
Let's hope so, anyway. I was sure looking forward to seeing this kid play for OU.
Guerin Emig just tweeted that he has left the team but "it's not official".

(OU Sports Information)
University of Oklahoma head men's basketball coach Jeff Capel announced tonight that freshman T.J. Taylor has left school due to personal reasons.
"T.J. is dealing with some things personal in nature and he informed me today that he is leaving our program," said Capel. "We wish circumstances were such that T.J. could remain with us, but we are certainly sensitive to his situation. We wish him the best."
Said Taylor, "This is something I felt I needed to do at this time of my life. I love Coach Capel and the staff at OU, and I wish everyone on the team the best of luck."
Taylor, a 6-3 guard from Denison, Texas, who was a three-time all-state player at Denison High School, sustained an injury during preseason workouts this year and did not play in any OU games.
Capel added that Taylor informed the OU staff of his plans to transfer to a junior college.
