There are a lot of professional athletes featured in news stories and documentaries because they’ve squandered — or been bilked out of — millions of dollars. But Broyles is not one of them. So far he has played in the NFL for three years, but regardless of how many more years he plays, he is living a lifestyle that will keep him wealthy for the rest of his life.

What a great read!

I couldn't be happier for Ryan Broyles. He's the kind of role model every young man should strive to be. Makes me proud to know that he is a former OU player!

Ryan will absolutely be offered a job in the financial industry based on this when football is over. just imagine him as your financial advisor telling you how important it is to save from day one. Hard to argue with a guy that wants you to save 5 or 10 percent when he saved 90%

That job offer may come sooner than Ryan thought it would. I can't find anything to suggest that he signed or is about to sign a free agent contract with another NFL team. Anyone know if a team is interested in his services?

Ryan is going to do just fine. He could probably get a job coaching, working for a network or working in the financial industry. I hope he gets another year or two but he will be fine either way.
