What's the deal with Henry? I thought he was poised to enroll this spring, and now he might not make it in the fall?

Heard Hale on KREF talking to Skeeter this afternoon and Skeeter says his son is at Redlands and will be in Norman in December.

I am assuming that is correct...
So if Henry is out, then there should be an open scholarship this year.

M'Baye/Clark/Neal/Hield/Hornbeak

So there would be a potential of 7 scholarships available in '13-'14?
Can you imagine the 'quality' of player that would be a 6th and 7th late signee? Talk about projects and stabs in the dark. Much less find 5 quality guys to come in and see 4 of them contribute right away.

What a cluster***k!
We have to bring in somebody else this year if Henry isn't available.

Weird. You'd think that with a dad who's been through the process before they'd be more on top of things. Oh well, hope he gets hear in December, but I never hold my breath on these types of things.

And yes, M'Baye is counted as using a scholarship this year.

So Franklin was actually signed by Capel, so that likely counts as 11.
The 12th is occupied by the probation restriction.

Are you telling me that Lon had a ship available for 2011-12 that he didn't use? Not that I take issue with that strategy, I'd just like to know.

The scholarship reduction was for only one year '11-'12.
So we should be back to 13 for next season '12-'13.
