UCLA being in, Dayton in the play-in game, and Georgetown as a 4 seed are the biggest head-scratchers to me thus far.

Cyclones get a decent SMU team in 2nd round but otherwise looks like a good 2nd weekend path for them!

Can't sleepwalk against Albany though. They made the Dance each of the past two seasons. Last year they won a play-in game, and lost to #1 seed Florida by only 12. Year before that they lost to a #2 seed Duke by 12. They've got a couple of good 3 point shooters. They play really slow and deliberate, so OU pushing tempo will be key.

I like our 3 seed bracket better than Baylor's. With that said, I think Baylor may be the best Big 12 team to face Arizona.

Yep, time to find out if our conference was overrated or not. No reason not to get at least 3 teams into the Sweet 16, given we have 5 teams seeded to get there.

Unlike football conference pride means something. Our future seeds depend on a good showing. I have no problem rooting for other Big12 basketball teams

I really don't like letting teams like UT into this, and keeping teams like Colorado State out.

It's not about putting the best teams in. It's about putting some combination of the best teams and the teams with the best resumes. I don't care how tough the Big 12 is, if you finish 2 games under .500, you probably shouldn't be Dancing. Especially true when that describes two teams from said conference.
