It would mean a lot to me if he went to Joe C and volunteered a pay cut. This should happen asap.

Nobody is going to go to their boss and volunteer to take a pay cut. This is post of the year.

Absolutely not...would be a stupid financial decision for a 30-something year old coach with no job stability. He's not Bob Knight.

It would mean alot to me if Joe C went to Boren and took responsibility for the men's program sucking under his tenure and volunteered for a pay cut.

...and then Boren went to the Governor an also took a pay cut because his universities basketball team sucked. And the Governor gave his salary back to the state because he has a state funded college whose basketball team sucks and committed recruiting violations. ... and the people of the state were to pay extra taxes for living in a state whose Governor funded a university with a President who hired an athletic director who likes to find coaches at fire sale prices and sucks at supporting and growing the men's basketball program... and the season ticket holders through whose support the program continues and by extension and fans who allow this kind of thing to keep going on by showing up in the stands should have their ticket privileges stripped of the nice games and be forced to show up for all the creampuffs.

Pay up. This :jcapel, and this :OUbball-logo: is your fault.

That would be admitting there is a problem with the program. You either stick with him and roll the dice, or let him go and start fresh with a new coach.

close this thread... Its going to get me in trouble.

Why would he take a pay cut... if he gets fired... he's not going to say... hey i did a crappy job3 out of 5 years... just keep the money you owe me!
