well if its BCG than it will happen very fast, if not it could go for several weeks while the NIT and NCAA tournaments play out....I too feel BCG is the sexy choice but do not get the feeling it will happen as of today.

BCG would be stretch in the sense that he had some issues in the past that will turn Boren off; however, if he has gotten past those issues, then he would be a great fit.

As far as another coach, if the money is right and you can get anybody.

i would take a look at Gregg Marshall at Wichita State, he was at Winthrop and has been in the NCAA tournament 7 times in the last 12 years and has taken Wichita State to back to back NIT trips.

Let me get this straight - a politician worried about someone's with drinking problems in their past? If this were the case our Congress chambers would be virtually empty!

He may have problems with BCG, but if Boren wants him then I am sure he can overlook someone's past mistakes.

Can someone explain to me why many people are saying Capel was in over his head at OU, but now some of the same people are asking about Terry Evans? I'm not criticizing you, suncoast, but Capel at least had D1 HC experience. TE has one year as an asst. in D1 with Billy Tubbs at TCU. I say no thanks, as much as I love Terry Evans, this is the wrong time for him.

i think you are correct in that regard. I know Joe C. isn't stupid, he knows OU bball cannot continue this way. We need a legit name to bring us back from the depths.
