what about a blaine taylor at Old Dominion? surely we could lure a guy in the caa to a major conference. He coaches a tough style, kind of reminds me of the kelvin style. 4 ncaa appearences since 2005 and beat ND last year in the first round. In thinking of capel being gone the last two years he's been on my radar.

Can someone explain to me why many people are saying Capel was in over his head at OU, but now some of the same people are asking about Terry Evans? I'm not criticizing you, suncoast, but Capel at least had D1 HC experience. TE has one year as an asst. in D1 with Billy Tubbs at TCU. I say no thanks, as much as I love Terry Evans, this is the wrong time for him.

I've been a Capel supporter. I am disappointed about the decision but it's time to move on and I think Evans needs to be looked at. He'd have Billy's support I would assume, he is obviously very familiar with OU, and has been successful at every level he has been a coach.
