Thanks for the updates, Norm. I would say Kelsey had an excellent game and this will really boost her confidence. A great win! We need Brittany Williams bat so hope she can play. This team is on fire and I hope they can keep it up.
 
I love to watch Lauren swing a bat. She coils into a very powerful position with her back almost toward the pitcher. She extends the bat back toward the catcher, straightens her left arm, steps into the pitch and unloads with more power than anyone I've ever seen. She hits homeruns even when she doesn't get all of the ball.

That said, Pendley is my favorite player simply because she not only hits with power but she can play any position and she runs well. Just a tough kid and she has a cannon to first base.
 
Today Sooner Sports pnce again cant show the video of the game summary because of "Conection Error". Same thing happened with the second texass A&M game. Someone needs to be working on the janitorial staff instead of the video production staff.
 
A terrific win last night. Kelsey was amazing, hitting her spots and with a lot of jump on the ball. I sure hope Williams is okay. We just can't afford to lose her big bat from the lineup. Here's hoping we can win the 4 o'clock game today. I don't think my nerves would hold up to play a third game.

Baylor beat #4 seed Georgia twice, 6-3 today with the help of four Georgia errors. Baylor is in the World Series.
 
OK, out here in New Mexico, this thread is my only contact with the softball team.

So what's up?
 
We had a long rain delay. We are in the top of the fourth with no outs. OU is batting. We trail 1-0.
 
We didn't score so Tenn is coming to bat in the bottom of the 4th with a one run lead.
 
Ellis has allowed 3 balls to get by her this inning. Fortunately no runs have scored but that's not good.
 
Double play on a great throw from right field by Miller to nail the runner coming home after tagging up on the fly that Miller caught. We trail 4-0.

Are you at the game or watching it on tv? Do we have another pitcher and am not saying that we need to have a relief now, just wondering if we have someone almost as good?

Pendley is pitching now. We are in bottom of the 6th with one out. Tenn is batting with a 4-0 lead.
