Yes, he did. Former K-State player, Dominique Sutton, is also in this game. Sutton was Tony Crocker's teammate at Patterson School in N. C. back in the day.
When you realize how many really good former college players are on D League rosters, you begin to appreciate how difficult it is to make it to the next level.
Xavier is, famously, D'Angelo Alexander's younger brother, but has another obscure linkage to the program -- he was Barry "Big Puma" Honore's teammate for one season at Southern Nazarene.

Taylor always stated that he wanted to go to Medical School. I am sorry that he has let that go for minor league ball. He may still give it a shot though.
CJ Henry and Xavier Alexander played together on the SNU 2010-2011 basketball team. They are both from very athletic families.
CJ signed a baseball contract out of HS (Putnam City), then quit and played basketball first at Memphis and then KU before transferring to SNU. His father Carl played HS basketball at US Grant in OKC before going on to play at KU (his mother played at KU, too). His younger brother played at KU for a year before declaring for the NBA. He played for the LA Lakers this season.
Xavier Alexander is the younger brother of De'Angelo Alexander who played for OU for 2 years before finishing up his eligibility at Charlotte …… got caught up in an academic situation at OU and was kind of forced to transfer. Enough said. Xavier was a good friend of Blake Griffin, and Blake tried to recruit him to play together at OU. I sure Xavier wished he had now….. but there could have been some fallout from his brother's stay at OU.
