I vow to never again:

  • Consider them a team on the rise
  • Polish their turds
  • Pimp some player they just signed
  • Talk about their stats, talk about how close they are in games
  • Start another positive thread about them

They are dead to me. They will only exist to me in the sense that they are a team on the schedule.

To be honest, Tech proved to be a fairly decent team for most of the season. They are at #45 in Kenpom as of now....and I would venture to guess that they haven't been that highly regarded (in advanced efficiency metrics) since the beginning of the Big 12. Yesterday's loss was a downer to Tech fans I am sure, but from an outsider's perspective, they seem to be on an upswing IMO.

Nobody has pimped them more than me on this forum... trust me, they always make you think they are on the upswing. They returned like 7 guys who have been playing for years. They have one of the most experienced teams in the country, seem to have spots filled... They have athletes, they have guys who can put up some nice numbers, etc. But they can't win. It makes no sense.

Next year they are really loaded with experience... Top 35 recruit transfer from Florida, big transfer from Depaul, their entire starting 5, couple of juco AA's, etc. They will probably end up with the most experienced team in the damn country....

And guess what, they will lose. They don't know how to win. Their program doesn't have a winning identity or something. They are cursed.

Don't fall for it.

:ez-laugh: hilarious that it's taken you this long. Your continued worship if their "juco AA's" made my day

Don't worry, I'm sure some other teams will sign JUCOs too.
