I didn't realize Texas was so much faster than Baylor? How many fast break points did Baylor give up, anyway?

Texas has the superior athletes on their team. Holmes is going to be tough to deal with the next 3 years.

Texas wins...I didn't realize it had been so long since they beat the bears. But I think Baylor might have to get used to it.

It was a really enjoyable game to watch.......not a lot of bone-headed plays, just good players making good plays trip after trip down the floor. Lots of good sets by both teams.

Wouldn't that be a shame.

Looks like texas may be the only real challenge for baylor in the big 12

To win at Baylor is quite a statement. I was really surprised too at how much quicker Texas was to the Bears. I just wish they could have kept their 16 point lead, but it was fun to watch them knock them off on the road.

I was a bit surprised. I didn't think Texas could do it for an entire game. Holmes helps. Atkins and McCarty are the keys. They were too quick for Baylor.

It is tough to be that physical, especially in Waco, and get away with it. Baylor gets those calls. Kim was not a happy camper, especially after a foul on Brown. But, Baylor doesn't have that all-conference point guard, and it shows. It is just covered up by their huge interior. They are somewhat like we were when we had four McDonald's All-Americans, and all were posts (Amanda being a PF). Baylor loses its top three scorers in Davis, Prince, and Davis along with a decent reserve post in Cage. They may be hurting for anything outside of ten feet next year.

Good game. I'll be interested to see what happens in Austin. I still believe we have shot at Texas if Maddie isn't hurt.

A great week in basketball: Kansas men lost, Baylor men lost, West Virginia men lost, Baylor women lost.......It just can't get much better than this. The big boys/girls need to lose now and then and remind them of what it feels like to lose. Congrats to the Texas ladies on their win AND to win AT Baylor......That is an accomplishment !!!! Get ready for round two when they come to see you !!!

Whorns are playing their best right now. The key was their shooting. Over 51%. They kept attacking Hypocrite U the whole game and Sulkey's crew wasn't up to the task.

Much easier to shoot 51% when you are getting out in transition when you win the fast break points by 10-0. Texas guards much quicker than were Baylor's. Whorns were consistently able to attack before Baylor could get their half court defense set. Whorn back ups out scored the beas 22-7.
