@ Kansas, @ OSU, @ Iowa State, and @ Baylor all within the first 7 games. Good Lord. Gonna know a whole lot about this team very early on!

That is Tough early... Dang. No room for let down... Conf championship on the line!

I think that works in our favor this year. The players and team as a whole should have a clear identity by then with so much returning. I believe this gives us an advantage over OSU & Baylor who are replacing some very key players.

Also interesting that we play K-State and ISU twice before playing Texass at all.

Bring it onnnnnn!

Agree. It feels like Kruger teams tend to come together earlier in the season than the competition, which helps us this year.

Some say that's 'peaking early', which has negative connotations, but I don't see that as a bad thing - you win more games!

As good a schedule as I've seen in some time..there's no huge stretch of playing low level D1 teams like you see at some schools. Just a great mix of high mid and low major opponents..don't forget about that LSU game down in Baton Rouge in the middle of conference play..more and more I think that could be a dynamite game

pretty front loaded. just survive and make a push at the end of the year

I would be satisfied winning 2 of those first 4 road games. Ecstatic to win 3 of them.

I think 2 years ago they went to Europe and that gave them a needed fast start but last year not so much, best ball was late season. This year 4 returning starters including all the backcourt helps a ton.

I think we will win the final 11 conf games

I don't know about that. What has separated Kansas from the rest of the league the past ten years is that they RARELY lose games they are supposed to win handily. They'll lose a couple to other contenders (ISU, OU, OSU, etc) but they almost always (2013 game at TCU aside) win every game against the 5th-10th place teams. We aren't quite there yet.

With that said, we owe Kansas State so bad.:lon

Students won't be back for the Iowa St, Kansas St, and West Virginia games.

I hope OU is paying attention to that and has a plan to pack the house for ISU and the other home games before the students return.

You know what I meant! 15-3. :)

We'll need a lot of bounces to go our way to get to 15-3. 13-5 or 14-4 is most realistic. This conference is going be pretty deep. OU, KU, and ISU are top 10 teams. Baylor is a top 25 team, then pretty decent squads follow in WVU, ut, and possibly one more. I won't waste our time mentioning any of the other schools.

haha hey, could have been 13-5. I think 13-5 and 14-4 are more reasonable as well, which would be a strong showing. It would be great to win, but a strong conference record to go with a good showing in some of these early tourney's, could get a 2 seed or so. I just want to make a run at the Final 4, it's in Houston this year and I could finally see it.
