But he also just said that Mason is "so good at swiping at the ball without fouling." Ha. Or the referees just swallow their whistle.
 
I rolled out of a nap to watch the last of the KU game, and all I've got is a ****ing free throw contest. Man these refs need to get their act together.
 
TCU did themselves proud. Despite their foul problems and a number of questionable calls and no calls, they hung tough with KU from start to finish. Lesser teams would have folded when the Jayhawks made their runs.

I hope the Horn Frogs get a NIT bid. They deserve it!
 
Am I reading the line right? Is Texas favored over Iowa State?

Edit: CBS shows Iowa State +1.5 but ESPN says the opposite. I guess I'm going with ESPN here.

Iowa State opened up as a 2 pt favorite on most Vegas sites that I saw earlier, but it has gone down to 1.5 and 1 in several sports books.
 
I watched the last ten minutes of the KU-TCU game....is the local chamber of commerce responsible for hiring the refs????

I believe Oubre shot free throws on three consecutive trips down the floor..:facepalm
 
So who would we rather play tomorrow assuming we can get the W tonight? I'm inclined to think Texas even though they present a size match up for us.

They'd be playing for the 3rd day in a row and we wouldn't have to deal with an arena packed to the point of being a home game for Iowa State.

Man, ISU getting thumped. Looks like our first half in Ames.
 
Wow...UT up 15 closing in on the end of the first half. I can't decide if the Texas players have finally started listening to Barnes....or they've just tuned him out altogether.
 
Huge difference in officiating in ISU/UT game and the KU/TCU games. With a minute to go in the half only 2 FT's shot and neither team is in the bonus. How refreshing.
 
This UT vs ISU game is pretty good. I am hoping our game is a blowout in our favor. I need a relaxing game.
 
will be interesting to see if Texas can whether this ISU push here...
 
I heard that too. It was when Texas subbed for Holmes after he shot FTs.
