Other than integrity...

23% and 58%.

Those were OU's shooting percentages in each half today.

Baylor came out in the 3-2 zone and our guys struggled. Lon coached them up in the locker room, and our offensive approach, and the results, improved dramatically.

I said close to the half that Drew was beating us with his zone approach. Luckily, he couldn't coach a zebra to be striped during a game.

Also, you'll NEVER see Lon on the floor on his back kickin' his legs & throwin' a hissy fit over a call that didn't go his way.......

I think that just behind us winning and recruiting better than the former guy, this is my third-favorite thing about his coaching :)

What are coaches that do this sort of thing thinking? Do they really think it will endear them to the officials? Do they think it will influence a future call? Do they think it will motivate their team?

I would T a coach up if he did that and one inch of his body left the coaching box.

Maybe it's just me, but through that review and those timeouts Drew looked more and more frantic and Kruger looked like Mr. Miyagi.

I'd like to think Stoops does it because his players can't without getting flagged and such, or that football stadiums tend to be louder, so you have to shout at officials to make sure they hear you :)

Basketball seems to be more coaching tantrums

I don't recall seeing coach Stoops fall to the ground. I would not call Stoops one of the more animated football coaches.

That makes two (at least) of us, Denver. About the "worst" thing I've ever seen CBStoops do when upset with a call/play is to pull off his headset (don't ever recall seeing him throw it).

"As cool as the other side of the pillow" is how one ESPN announcer would characterize Coach Kruger's courtside demeanor.

Maybe I'm giving him double credit because his brother and he work the officials together. And yes, I was referring to yelling at the refs, not falling to the ground over calls like Scott Drew :)

Falling to the floor and flailing is almost as classless for a coach as yelling at an opposing team's player while he's shooting a free throw.

Did anyone see Drew stomp and yell right behind Cam as he was shooting a 3 in front of their bench in the 1st half?
