The first softball game

is 10 days away. What has been Patty's practice re; playing freshmen at the beginning of the season? I would think most all will play at some point in those first ten(?) games. I'm most anxious to see the three new pitchers in action.

Romero singles for her first rbi. Pendley scored. 1-0 after one.

A squeeze bunt by Ellis,
a sacrifice fly by Pendley, and
another rbi single by Romero, and OU is up 4-0 after two.

Whoops! Bases loaded, two-run single by Wodach gives OU an 6-0 lead over Northern after two.

After two and a half, OU leads 6-0. Stevens has 7 Ks.

I think junior college pitching is like batting practice for these girls.

Stevens pitched four with two hits, no runs, no walks, 8 strikeouts. Finney to pitch the fifth.

Raegan Rogers gets a two-run single. OU leads 13-0 after five.

OU wins 14-0 in six.

Jayden strikes out a pair.
Pendley doubles home Knighten for a 1-0 lead.

Jayden retires the side in order in the second.
Ellis scores on an error, and Macey comes home on a wild pitch, 3-0 after two.

Romero with a two-run home run to center.
Jayden allowed two hits in the third, but she has four strikeouts. 5-0 in the bottom of the third.
Apparently, Romero can hit.

Jayden pitched three with two hits, no walks, no runs, and four strikeouts.

Macey drives home two with a bloop single.

Paige promptly loads the bases and walks a runner home, 7-1.

Nirschl with a sacrifice fly, 8-1.

Paige shuts them down in the fifth.

All freshman hits were singles, except for a triple by Aviu. They were 8 for 13 as a group.
