There is still a lot of excitement left for this season but I am extremely excited about the future.

These kids just love to work and they are going to be very good when they are juniors and seniors.

Agreed!

The Big-12 should be fun to watch the next few years. Other teams (like Texas) also have young players that are showing great improvement.

LOVE this team.. they play together so unselfishly.. honestly i think the only player that isnt meshing well with the team is hornbeak and that may be due to him forcing some things coming off that injury..

i cant believe we'll get two more years of spangler :D :D :D :D

Hornbeak will be fine. There have been signs in the last two to three games that he is well on his way to rounding into form again. I think his injury set him back a lot more than we realize.

As for this team's bright future, count me in 100% and then some! I honestly don't remember a team in years I have been more excited about when it comes to the intangibles like team chemistry and playing together for a common cause. In case no one has noticed, we haven't had a discussion this season about leadership. I think that's because it would be hard to pick just one or two. Every starter on the team has demonstrated leadership qualities.

Judging by everything I have read, heard and seen about our three newbies next season, they're all cut out of the same mold.
