I don't think Texas cares how it works out, they got what they wanted more money and something to brag to recruits. ESPN is the one taking the loss.

I thought that I read that Texas doesn't get their money until ESPN takes their share?

They are also getting free pub from ESPIN as well. The whorns are pumped at every opportunity. I think at some point their network will spread, it's too costly not to, but I think our deal will be best for us. And I'm sure in the contract that if certain viewership is met, then the amount of money will increase, or at least I hope so. It's also evidently a shorter term so adjustments can be made more quickly and efficiently.
