Apparently, there are some rumors/reports out there that neither have visited.

We haven't confirmed anything on Jennings or Long, but there is a report out there on Scout Mississippi State site that says Long committed to Mississippi State this morning.

Their story indicates that it was his decision not to visit OU and sign with Mississippi State, but we haven't been able to confirm whether it was indeed his decision or OU decided to back off at the last minute and he jumped on the Bulldogs offer (if that report is true).

Sam and William are working tonight to try and get some more details.

Interesting.

His brother was the one quoted in the Scout article saying he was going to Mississippi State. He is quoted as saying he wanted him to take the visit to OU, but that he was "adament" he wanted to go to Mississippi State. Perhaps things have changed since that article was published at 7:54 p.m. tonight.

FWIW, Long was also apparently getting interest from Tennessee and Texas. He had also visited Louisiana Tech and Tulane, in addition to Mississippi State. I'm not sure we had the info on the La. Tech and Tulane visits in our earlier reports.

We're still working to confirm what's going on, and it looks like we may not get an answer tonight. Sorry guys.

I liked Long, but wasn't sure about Jennings. The good news is that we have three ships to give next year rather than potentially one if we took both of those guys.

I see that as good news as well. I would prefer to see LK and his staff be very selective in committing the ships we have left. Chances are we'll need guards more in 2012, than another big or two who may or may not pan out.
