The NBA Playoffs/Thunder/Blake Thread

Should've been a foul call. The refs weren't going to compound the bad no-call by giving the Clippers the ball.

The officials weren't going to compound the no-call by making the correct call on the one that was reviewable? So they're just making up their own rules now?

And it wasn't just that play -- they were awful all game long.

That's exactly what I'm saying.

This last minute reminded me of Allen Field House when the hawks are behind.

Could/should have been a foul call on westbrook when he "stole" the ball from paul. Could have been a foul call on ibaka at the end of the game. Ball was definitely out on Jackson. Three calls that went against the clips in the last 10 seconds. :o

Westbrook and Durant got hit repeatedly with no calls, it was bad all the way around.

lol @ Chris Paul. You will never see a bigger gag job than that. I bet Kobe is laughing hard. Screw the Clippers. ha ha

Every fan of every team will justify makeup calls when in their favor, and then violently oppose them when they go against them.

And it was happening all game. Ibaka had an open slam on a play that saw Jordan blatantly shoved to the floor. No call. A ball on other end was clearly out off of Adams, but the Thunder kept the ball. Jordan's sixth foul was perhaps technically a foul, but as Steve Kerr said, it was of the touch variety and typically goes uncalled play after play. Westbrook continuously lowers his shoulder and seeks out contact while driving to the basket but is given the call time after time. Michael Jordan didn't receive as much protection on drives as Westbrook does.

No doubt they got fouled......but they did go to the line almost twice as many times. And they do drive more, but to wait until the end of the game and then have the refs decide the game????

Okc 32-36 free throws
Clips 16-20

For those of you that don't think the Thunder should have been rewarded the ball on the Jackson play, if a player has the ball and an opponent hit's the hand of that player causing the ball to go out of bounds, the ball stays with the original player, doesn't matter who it is out on.

It's funny in the nba, once guys get in foul trouble the refs are very reluctant to call fouls on them, CP3 could've fouled out 3 times.

One reason they drove more is that Jordan was in foul trouble the whole freaking game. Of course, one could say Jordan was in foul trouble because the Thunder were driving to the hoop, but several of his foul were questionable.

A team that is in foul trouble is hobbled on the defensive end. Jordan was out, Davis had five, Blake four or five. Paul had five (I think). If the Thunder can't come back against a team with that many fouls, with all the friendly calls they got down the stretch, they should be ashamed of themselves. And on the rare occasions Westbrook didn't get the call, he (and the fans) were whining about it.

It was blatant home cooking tonight. Sorry, but there's no other way to describe it.

I have to disagree, there were bad calls of course, but they went both ways.

I agree that the Thunder got calls, But lets not forget how Kerr was talking about Paul kept flopping in the broadcast. Paul kicks his foot out on three points causing contact. Blake uses is off hand to shove of when posting up. Barnes was holding Durant when Durant was going around him, you could do this all day for foul calls or non calls on both sides. As much as I hate to defend refs, there is no way they will catch every foul*

As yes the ball was off of Jackson and I am not sure how that was not corrected on review.

* I reeve the right to gripe about officiating cause its fun.
