I'm not arguing that Clarke is the better player. WW is a much better player, But he was another one of the cancer guys last year and even to an extent the elite 8 year (allegedly sleeping with AJ's girlfriend) Clarke from the outside seems to be a better chemistry guy.Thats why I said in hind sight i would take Clarke but that the time we didn't know WW would be that big of a problem for us last year

I know that our recruiting class is nothing to brag about this year but Capel did go after McCallum, Releford, Pressey, Lamb, Barnes, Jones, Cothron, Noreen, Johnson. He just lost out to other programs. At least he is going after the top talent.

And the only way these guys are misses that you all are talking about...is if they would have chose us over the programs they went too.

A lot people fault Capel for going after Jones and Barnes. Ifault capel for going after McCallum and Zeigler. No way those two coaches sons are going to choose OU over their father's programs. Capel was drawing from his own experiences, but there's a huge difference in a McDonald's AA choosing Duke over NC A&T than those two kids choosing Detroit and Central Michigan over OU.

Yeah, but if his dad wasn't a coach, he wouldn't know about OU. I agree with you, we'd be alot better if we had those kids. McCallum will be in the league.
