The Official My Bracket is #$@! Thread

Had Iowa State in the championship, proud to be the first one busted!!

I think I had them going to the sweet-16 or so. ::sigh::

Had ISU in the final four and BU in sweet 16....:facepalm

between ISU and Baylor my brackets are toast

Texas - gone
Baylor - gone
Iowa State - gone
SMU - gone
Ole Miss - about to be gone (trailing by 12)
Ohio State - about to be gone (trailing by 12)

Geez...and Thursday's night games haven't even begun yet...

I had texas, baylor, ISU, SMU, and Ohio State all winning. And FOUR of those winning their next game as well.

...

@ESPNFantasy: There are just 4,655 perfect brackets halfway through Thursday's action. #TheRoadToNoPerfectBrackets

Everyone lost or should have lost ISU and Baylor. Anyone that picked those upsets simply got lucky and is going to have a bracket full of upsets that are very unlikely to actually happen.

Not playing for $........Don't care. Adios Baylor and ISU. All I care about is OU. :OUbball-logo:

I think still in pretty good shape. (Does that mean I'm not allowed to post or should shut up?)

I had both Baylor and Iowa St in my sweet 16 but that's it and I imagine that many had one or both going much further than that.

You should be in great shape. I suspect very few had them losing in the first round and the vast majority had them winning in the second round.

People that try to pick a bunch of crazy upsets don't usually do well in brackets. I typically follow the seeding with maybe a couple of first round upsets outside of the 7 and 8 seeds. I will take a 10 or 9 if I like them better with no hesitation.

I blew it on Texas. That was one of my upset picks. I should no better than to ever count on a Longhorn for anything.

No offense, but what a boring way to pick a bracket. Everybody knows there are going to be upsets. The fun is trying to pick a handful. Not like there are only 1-2 in the first round either, there will likely be a minimum of 5-7 every year. Gotta try to pick a few of them.

I did the same but had Texas losing in the 2nd round. Missing a few 1st round games doesn't kill any bracket unless you've got 1 of those teams going a long way.

The fun for me is trying to get games right and that doesn't happen when you pick upsets just for the sake of picking upsets. I pick the team I think will win and couldn't care less how boring it is.

You also don't get them right if you just pick the favorites. There will be a lot of upsets. There will be 1+ double digit seed in the Sweet 16. There will probably be a non 1 or 2 seed in the Final Four.

Nobody said picking upsets just to pick them. But you know they are going to happen. Look for the most likely options, and pick some of them. A lot of them can be reasonably predicted. Some can't.

I went 8-8 the first day with 3 of those losses being teams I had picked to move on to the sweet 16
