Dusty is no longer doing his hour with Traber. Heard they had a heated argument behind the scenes. Anyone have any more details?

Dusty probably wanted to talk sports for more than 5 minutes per hour, while Traber wanted to yell at callers about Japanese baseball, his grandkids, what he had to eat and watched last night, and his latest doctor visit....

Traber really, REALLY doesn't want to piss Dusty off...

Too soon?

Too soon.

I just hope they keep Dusty b/c he's one of the few I actually enjoy. its nice listening to someone who knows OU

People can make fun of the sports animal all they want but Dusty is big time. Does a great job on TV and radio.

How is Trabber that popular? I switched to the franchise when they started because I couldn't stand listening to him and Al. How in the world are they on radio? If you can have a face for radio you should be able to have a voice for newspaper....

I haven't listened to the SA for several years. How old are Traber's kids?

Womp, womp.

the worst thing to happen to WWLS is one the best things that happened to OKC when the Thunder came. Becoming the flagship station has sent all the advertisement/commercials $$$ their way. I think for the most part, most of the hosts have rested on their laurels the past couple of years. Change and new personalities like Dusty would be a breathe of fresh air over there, but WWLS is not worried about that. They are the monster in the market and with longevity and the Thunder on their side. It is what it is.

I think Dusty will work his way into a national TV gig before too long. He's smooth.

not sure how old the son who disowned him is. Had a daughter who had a kid around 18 years old that he and his wife help out a lot. Actually rebounded nicely and turned a sour HS/college situation into a good family, but goodness I don't need to turn into the radio to hear about what all you did with the baby the previous night.

Pat Jones is as bad as Traber, I don't listen much at all anymore. I can't understand Al speech. Most of the time when they say something good about OU it is quickly followed by "But" or he's just a guy.
