This is not accurate. Both of Blake's years OU had quite talented teams. Longar, Blake and Taylor was an awesome front court but Capel was too stupid to capitalize on it.

The year after Blake left OU had Willie Warren, TMG, Tiny Gallon, Cade Davis, Andrew Fitzgerald, Tony Crocker (I think) and Pledger. That was a talented team it just had a horrible coach that could not control TMG and Willie Warren.

Agree with Booger. When I talk about the football team John Blake does not come to mind.

It has been enough years, let's put that time to rest and be thankful for what we have.
