LK will do fine if he can recruit some good basketball skill players, have them for a few years, and let them control his team. He is NOT the guy who can recruit a slew of top-50 athetes and scheme them into winning games. By that same token he's also not the guy who is gonna walk in and take recruits away from Barnes or Self...so you can get that out of your head right now and we're already down to fighting for 2nd or 3rd place at best.

He'll do fine I am sure. Hopefully you guys will defend him just as boisterously when you figure out his ceiling is lower than Kelvins' and he wouldn't have done any better with this years team than Capel did.

Can't believe some of you would dog on Doc Sadler so bad and think this is some major home run - just shows how so many are truly clueless.

I find it so hard to believe that I enjoyed so many of your posts over the years and never knew you had stuff like this in you.

I am pretty good at remembering who was beating a drum for Kelvin back then .... it was a small group and we hit the bunker often.

Seeing as how this would be tame compared to the things said to nick then (and even now) I will just chalk this up to emo.

Not sure how I can go on now though. I am so very heartbroken.

Here's the deal, nobody, and I mean NOBODy, knows how any hire will work out. I plan to sit back and enjoy whoever comes in to replace JC. We'll see how it plays out in a few years and then we can moan about it if it's a bad choice.

I was a huge Kelvin fan.

And I support Lon Kruger (if he is indeed the guy) 100%.
 
I do not always agree with Cool, but I like the way he handles himself. Load up on him, he can take it. To each their own. I think this is a solid hire, but I would have to see a younger person get the job. I have supported TEvans, so Cool is probably alot brighter than I am. But who cares, have fun, make fun of, and kick some of us to the curb. That is what makes these boards enjoyable! Peace out!
