Time for a 24-second shot clock?

This would have hurt OU in the KS era, but the LK era it really wouldnt matter much, as I assume LK is looking to fly around the court.

Don't the women have a 30-second clock? They should at least go for that.

I don't like it. The NBA can get away with the shorter clock, b/c from one team to the next, the talent difference isn't as large as it can be in college. That clock helps give lesser teams a chance. I know it seems like a little thing, but it hurts all those small schools that try to slow it down in the Dance to pull and upset.

no thanks, there is no reason to dumb down the game by removing strategy and forcing less discipline. A shorter clock just promotes more isolation, which IMO is a bad thing.

I agree with the second of the two writers. No thanks to the 24-second clock (or the 30-second, for that matter). It would be fixing something that's not broken.

I like 35. One of the great things about college basketball is how different the game can be from one team to the next (see: MU under Anderson vs. NU under Sadler). A shorter shot clock would undo that.
