I already like the way the girls are looking in practice and the intensity they seem to be bringing. I'd say by the looks of it, we probably have the toughest non-conference schedule out of the Big 12 teams. Obviously Duke is going to be a huge game and playing Louisville and/or LSU in the WNIT should be tough.

*Any other games that jump out at anyone as being a tough match up for us?

Hopefully these games can prepare us for what I think will be a really tough Big 12 schedule. OSU, Baylor, WV, and Texas should all be pretty good this year.

*Any predictions on what the conference standings will be? ...

I think the UCLA game, at LA in November, could be a tough one. With the LA crowd, it's not like we will be going into a lions' den, but they have talent and should be tough to beat on their home floor.

+1

If UCLA plays like they did last year the officiating will be a factor.

Marist on the road will be a good test. Cracker box gym, packed with loyal fans and very loud. Coach Brian will have his kids amped up and ready to play. It will be a good road win in a tough environment for our Sooners.

I'll take a stab at the standings. Haven't really looked at returning players on other teams, just going by memory of last season. I am a little biased toward some coaches too. That's what makes for good debate.

I think Baylor will be good, but will be a year away from being really good. With all the talent that Texas has, they just don't seem to click together. OSU will probably be better than my pick, and Coach Fennenly just always seems to have his kids in the mix. JMHO.

Confrence is going to be a toss up. As long as we are ready every game we will be one top.
