If KSU and Nebraska both go 2-2 down the stretch and win their opening Big XII tourney game they are in.

Baylor is in trouble due to the fact they lost to KSU and lost to two out of conference teams KSU beat in Gonzaga and Wazzu. If they go 3-1 with a huge win at home vs. UT they may be the 7th team.

Agreed. Baylor's resume looks horrible considering their talent.

OSU has zero chance of an at large. Big 12 tourney win is their only hope.

If OSU wins out in conference play and wins their first round Big XII game, they might get in. That would move their RPI higher and put them at 20 wins. I don't think that will happen (winning out) but if it does, it would be a close call.

That's my thinking too. What really hurts them is that even if they win the last 3, they'll still be 7-9 in Big 12 play. That would probably put them at the 7th seed in the Big 12 tourney.

I agree. Tough to overcome the losing confernece record. f I were on the selection com., I would also penalize them for playing Williams. That is, if I had two equally deserving teams and one did not play an accused rapist, I would pick the team that did not play the accussed rapist. We should be accountable for our decisions and OSU decided to risk it with Williams.

Yeah, and even the last 3 wins against OU (4-8 in conference), Tech (4-8), and Baylor (6-6) wouldn't exactly be reverberating wins...

I think they're going to have to go further than winning the first round of the Big 12 to even warrant consideration for the NCAA... 7-9 in conference (with more bad losses than seemingly normal), along with an unimpressive non-conference showing is a bad combination.

I don't really think that would play into the selection com. thinking. I think the 7-9 record in the big 12 and playing poorly down the stretch would be more likely to keep them out. IMO, OSU will have to win out the reg. season and make the tourny finals to have a chance. I'm not really holding my breath.

OSU is on our level of suckage

They're probably going to the NIT. Let me put it in football terms. They are a 6-6, 5-7 type team that is on the fringe of making a bowl. We are a 3-9, 4-8 type club. Jeez, I ****ing hate Jeff Capel.

We are in the Blake/Schnellenberger era of basketball.

So if we are talking in football terms. OSU is 6-6 and playing in the post season. As an OSU fan i call it a successful season.:clap

Two very important and implicative games going on right now...

Mizzou 29 - Baylor 17...3 minutes to go in the 1st

KSU 23 - Nebraska 21...4 minutes to go in the 1st

Colorado barely beat Tech 71-68....a much needed win for them
