I choose to think they are meeting with Kruger to clear the air, and say the tweet was sent in a moment of passion. I still think OU is still in it. This meeting will no doubt clear the air and let Lon know exactly where they stand..... one way or another.

Dean said Raeford "contacted him" to confirm that OU was still in it, and that he had deleted an "impulsive tweet" in response to an article in the Norman newspaper.

I have no idea if anything will be resolved during this meeting? But it's clear to me (assuming Blevins's report is accurate), Trae's father wants to make sure their relationship with OU's coaching staff continues to be on solid ground. We can only hope that's good news for OU fans.

Sounds like the meeting went really well. One site is reporting their sources are saying he's leaning to OU. I hate to share more than that since it's insider info but it all sounds pretty good right now.

To me, this is great news. It sounds to me like the Youngs wanted to reassure OU that we're still in it and that, as you said, things got blown out of proportion.

It sounds to me just like what others on this board have said. Trae wants OU, dad wants blue blood. Dad put that tweet out and Trae disagreed with it and wanted our staff to know.

Trae actually re-tweeted his dad's tweet. I think he was PO'ed the NT wrote the article and wanted to get back at them more than for OU to think he wasn't going to be a sooner.
