well ... I know a bunch of busybody guys at the courthouse and northside who are all concerned about trae's career because thats a macho thing I guess and they claim to be friendly with the dad and blah blah blah.

I hear stories and gossip all the time and, frankly, I want nothing to do with him or it or his dad or any of the other crap. Yeah he's a great player but if it's going to be all this personal crap over the team then I'd rather get someone else.

I don't know that I would want a journalist going after my high school kid. They can brag on how he plays or plays that he made, but leave the criticism for the coach.....after all, the coach is supposed to be in control.

This is true, however, if a poorly written article from a local newspaper is going to make his dad go off like this, what is going to happen when he is THE guy at a top program?

Good article with a number of positive comments about OU. Trae obviously sees beyond our struggles this season to a team with more than enough talent to be successful going forward.

Will that matter in the end? Who the heck knows? I could read the fine print in a book from across the room I'm in without my glasses better than I can read what Trae Young is going to do. I think it's possible even he doesn't know right now.
