Transfer thread

Well, there's some argument that maybe our coach should be able to bend his system to fit players, particularly if they go somewhere else and go off. Don't you think?

I agree to an extent. Sometimes you get guys and they don't fit quite like you expect. Sometimes they don't pick stuff up like you expect. Sometimes they don't accept the role they have. At the high school level you kind of have to bend your system to the player. At the college level a lot of times they simply get recruited over. There isn't a single solution.

To be honest I think it's a little but of both.

I've known some guys who thought the players should adjust to the coaching and vice versa.

Hugley hurt again, overweight still, or what?
As of a month ago, the report was that he has lost 60 lbs. and when one of their key bigs got hurt around that time, the expectation was that Hugley would play a major role. Not sure if he got hurt since then, but only playing six minutes makes me wonder.

Look another thread nuclear bombed! Shocked face

JM with 18, 4, and 5 assists in a win. I’ve seen some reporters mention Tech as a team that may be better than expected this season.

We know most of these guys can crush nonconference opponents, because they've done it. Won't be much to see for a while.

Oweh 19 minutes 4-11 0-4 on 3's 5 rebounds 1 assist 10 points.

Garrision off bench 19 minutes 2-6 0-1 on 3's 5 rebounds 3 assists 6 points.

Houston lost to # 11 Auburn
Uzan 31 minutes 5-10 0-1 on 3's 2 rebounds 4 assits and 10 points

Houston had 5 in double figures.

I think that’ll be about average for Uzan. Something tells me he’s only marginally improved since last year. He’s a good game manager point guard. Which is good because Houston is talented enough he doesn’t have to do much. He was expected to do more at OU but couldn’t.

Oweh was the difference down the stretch for UK, especially with his defense and rebounding. Kentucky with no returning players, no players who had ever played together before this season, and Pope already has one of the more impressive noncon wins any team will have this season.

Kentucky 77

Sucks Moser couldn’t hold onto him.

a little too early to believe the hype fellas. Give it time and see how he does. He had some great games for us against ranked teams last year as well.

Or develop him.
Eh. I do think he improved from year one to two. I think he would have improved even more this year had he stayed at OU. Uzan, on the other hand, is pretty much the same as last year imo.

As we didn’t already know minus 2-3 others.

You really are the biggest troll I’ve seen on any message board or you’re just stupid. You understand kids get better as they get older?

Or develop him.
