The other 2021 recruit is Trey Alexander, SG from Heritage Hall, nephew of former OU player Deangelo Alexander. He’s the other “Trey” Red Recluse was referring to in his post. I’m not familiar with the Allen, Tx PG you’re talking about.

Ranger I believe you are thinking of Keaton Page. Forte was right around 6 foot.

Phipps can really shoot and that is a huge deal in today's basketball game!

Manny Obaseki is the kid from Allen. Top 50 PG with really good athleticism & toughness. Think of a cross between Bienemy & Cousins.

Phil Forte from OSU would be my best comparison.

If he's anything close to Phil Forte we got a steal and I will be more than excited. That kid was a gritty, talented, baller.

That makes two of us!

Phil Forte and Marcus Smart were like brothers. They made it clear they would like to be a “package deal” coming out of high school. Capel wanted Smart but he wasn’t too keen on Forte. OSU wanted both, and the rest is history.

I don’t ever want to lose a shooter like Forte again! If Trey Phipps is anything like Forte (and I agree with the comparison), we should all be glad he wanted to a Sooner!

I listened to Brandon Drumm from OU Insider interview Trey. He was really nice and well mannered. He’s a clean-cut looking kid, too. It’s hard not to root for a kid like that. I hope he does well.
