Tulsa beat Creighton by 13

Creighton is a learning experience. It's obvious we blew that game. Tulsa is better than creighton.

For certain we will know a little bit more about Creighton vs Tulsa issue when the Sooners travel to Tulsa December 13 to play the Hurricane.

This is no surprise. OU is the same old borderline top 25 team that has 2nd half issues and will be lucky to win a game in March. Don't really see anything different than the hype.

Home court!

Tu was better last night by 13. Blue jays at home is a different animal.

The game last night was at Tulsa. I don't doubt the Sooners would have beaten Creighton in Norman or neutral site.

Wager? Why even come around? You must watch 1st take then come here and try to act like Stephen A and Skip.

Please tell me what's different from the past 2 seasons. Talent level has not increased. It's actually declined based on recruiting rankings. Experience has not increased. Coaching staff the same. Why are we supposed to be different? The only thing different is this group has played their entire career under Kruger whereas Osby, Pledger, Clark, etc played under both Capel & Kruger. But we have seen nothing to make us believe Kruger is a better coach. All we know is he aims lower in recruiting and makes fewer mistakes by not gambling on higher rated guys who have warts.

Why do you even participate?

It always amazes me when facts don't matter to someone. I root for the Sooners no matter who the coach is. Let's look at simple results.

Capel inherited a winning program and went to 2 NCAA tourneys in 5 seasons, going 13-18 in Year 4 and 14-18 in Year 5.

Kruger inherits a losing program on probation. Through three seasons, he has already gone to 2 NCAA tournaments and, in year 4, the program is on the rise.

This is not bashing Capel. It is what it is.

Dude, they lost a game they shouldn't have against Creighton. However, it's one of the THE TOUGHEST places in a America to play a road game. Don't mind the double-digit wins against teams that have been ranked this year. (And the Sooners didn't even play that well in much of those games.)

Next...

Making shots help as OU shot 35.5 % against Creighton while TU shot 48.1%. Tulsa also only turned the ball over 7 times against their opponent, which is very, very good for them. If TU could shoot free throws at a 70% clip or better they would be a very decent team to reckon with.

Players get better. Buddy, Isiah, Spangler.... Added Thomas. (all conf)

We have a roster a lot better than at any point with exception of BG. (he was going to OU even if you were coaching)

So what do you want to wager? You avoided the question.

The Capel fans amaze me. Capel had a losing conference record at OU. He was a horrible coach and the only thing that kept him around 5 years was Blake Griffin who just happened to be from Edmond and just happened to have an older brother on the team.

I'm prety sure that Creighton played in mid-season form and about as good as they could play. Not surprised that they cannot keep that up.

OU puked down their leg in the Creighton game. OU was much better than that team, they blew it. So, obviously you can't let that happen again, but at this point it's not worth comparing scores. OU is a lot better than Creighton.

I mean, aside from the fact that Kruger has 2 losing seasons in the last 15 years (one of them because of Capel), and Capel had 2 in 5 years. And the Final Four, and the fact that Kruger actually has a job as a head basketball coach.
