Interesting matchup because Kelvin coaches Houston, and they seem to be a decent team this year. If Tulsa wants to be in the tournament conversation, they have to win the " toss up " games like this one. I would like to think a win AT a serviceable Houston team's arena would bolster their resume.

Looks like Haith has a pretty reasonable chance of getting show-caused by the NCAA. Tulsa is going to be coach searching once again in the offseason.

he should have got it after the miami deal

Houston has some nice pieces. And Kelvin is throwing a 3-2 zone at TU that has them absolutely baffled. Houston up 40-27 at the half

The quicker that Tulsa rids itself of Frank Haith......the better. He had one NCAA tourney appearance at Miami (in seven years) and two NCAA appearances at Mizzou (with Mike Anderson's players). Not to mention, trouble follows this guy everywhere he goes. Now, this senior heavy Tulsa team seems to be no better than last year. I hope they can improve, but have very little faith that Haith is the guy who can help make it happen.

I grew up in Tulsa watching Nolan Richardson and JD Barnett teams. Those teams didn't have the best talent, but they were scrappy. I hope Tulsa goes a different direction next year with coaching because it appears that any momentum this program had this year is slowly, incrementally wasting away.

It was a horrible hire, I still can't believe people think they stole him away from Mizzou, he ran from Mizzou because he knew he was going to get fired. I will never understand them bringing him in.

yup...he is the Lou Holtz of college basketball but not the winning...lol
