On a related note, How the hell can Duke be ranked 5th in the nation when the ACC is so terrible. I heard Gottlieb say they may get a 1 seed in the tourney. If that happens I'm going to lose all respect I have for the selection committee -- not that I have a tremendous amount to lose.

Curious about what Tarheel fans are saying? Here are a few quotes from a thread on the UNC Scout board. Most of what I read sounds eerily familiar:

I think the ACC is going to send more than one team to the tournament. Wake is 18-7 and 20th in the RPI. Georgia Tech is 18-9 and 30th. Clemson is 19-8 and 33rd. Maryland is 20-7 and 34th. Florida State is 20-7 and 39th. Virginia Tech is 21-6 and 44th. I know RPI isn't everything, but I'd be willing to bet that at least one of those teams is going to get in (in addition to Duke).

ACC is definitely getting more than one team...expect at least 5.
