Up Next Oregon St

Wow! I couldn’t take it I had to be at work at 7am. Sounds like they looked good! Hope my DVR worked.

Saw a lot of things that I liked.

JB showing an offensive game and point guard skills.

Kauth looking like he finally gets it. Really dominant stretch. Going to need him against big teams.

Williams breaking out. Has to be careful and not try to do too much.

Absolutely no dropoff when Hill, Williams, Iwauku and Kauth came into the game. We can do a lot when we can go 9 deep.

Looks like we stopped working for good shots and relaxed a bit too much on defense after we got the 20 point lead. Maybe we needed more bench help in the second half.

Rough night for Harmon. Will have to adjust his game against better competition. He should be all right. Good to see he stayed under control except for a couple of bad shots late in the game.

Good progress. Still too early to know just how good the competition is. Still Oregon state beat Iowa State.

Looked very good in second half, Defense stayed solid the whole game, Doolittle is awesome, love watching him.

Besides scoring he had 16 rebounds, made all of his free throws (5/5), and led the team in assists.

Hopefully KC doesn’t have to work early.

If you’re referring to me, nope... retired in boulder painting my bro’s condo.

My take on the charge...
#1 as a coach would you be yelling charge?
#2 jb knew immediately he screwed up
#3 as a fan if osu did that would calling for a charge?
#4 maybe the kid embellished it but JB clearly pushed off

Have a great day.

It was a great win

Embellished? He clearly flopped. The exact thing they said they’d emphasize getting rid of this year. Probably will be tough for these players to change their ways.

Takeaways from Eric Bailey. Excerpt...

Doolittle is the lone senior on the Sooners’ roster and he showed his veteran leadership against Oregon State.

His 15-foot jumper before the buzzer gave the Sooners a 33-32 lead at intermission, as he scored his team’s final nine points of the first half. His 3-pointer put OU up 66-46 with 7:12 remaining in regulation.

His 16 rebounds bested his previous best of 15 against Iowa State during his freshman season.

“Doo had one of his better nights. Sixteen boards is outstanding,” Kruger said.

Doolittle also had four assists, which is just one from his personal best.
