Wasn't There a Thread about Vegas and OU having 4.5 returning players next

there was a thread like that...looks like it will be right on...I thinkits over

1) fitz
2) pledg
3) cade
4) gallon
5) hardick
6) tmg

I know gallon, hardick and tmg could all be gone....but I dont see tmg leaving but he may need to for us to improve on defense...he is not tall enough to play in the pros and if I was capel there would be no more releasing guys to transfer...so he would have to hate it enough to sit out a year somewere else

someone is posting on Lloyd noble that TMG has moved out of the dorms and entering the draft

He may have moved out but it would have to be for transfering purposes....there is absolutely no way he can play in the nba with how he plays defense

he may get picked late in the second round like the 50 or so pick...but I dont see himplaying more thana few years....he has no chance in being able to defend anybody

A respected poster on this board says he packed up his stuff and cleaned out his locker.

If he have less than 4 guys returning and only having 2 seniors on scholly then capels jobreally needs to be re-evaluated....we are not a duke, unc, kansas we cannot just reload every year.....we have to have these guys stay put and not transfer....this is getting outta hand

I think Hardrick is going to stay. Orlando Allen is going to UCO. TMG and Gallon are 50/50 at best. Cade, Fitz, Pledge are back.

If Capel knew TMG was thinking this way, why in the world did he get 40 minutes per game? That is silly.

I don't think he started thinking this until recently, just a hunch.

Probably this. And what were the other options anyway? TJ Franklin could have theoretically done the job, but it's not like we're priming him for the future. Ray Willis is a guy who "could" do it, but he's on his way out as well it seems. There weren't any other options at PG once Willie was out.

this is going to get very interesting. Predict OU will be down to three returning players
Fitz
Pledger
Cade

I'm still holding out hope that Gallon comes back.

Where is this crap coming from that Tiny won't be back? Over $3,000??? It seems like some people in the media are making some extremely tenuous assumptions about Tiny's status.

I talked to a friend in a diner a few weeks ago about this. Everyone thought he was a troll for predicting high turnover. He seems less troll, more soothsayer.

I think it's a little because of what happened with Bomar and Sampson and the fact that we have to be more careful than maybe a team that hasn't been in trouble with the NCAA recently. I also think it's an inference on the fact that Capel doesn't seem like he's messing around anymore.

My guess is that if he chooses to come back, and in fact, he was given $3,000, and it was not allowed by NCAA rules, he'll probably have a chance to give it back and be suspended a certain amount of games. It probably depends on the form of the payment (advance? loan? straight cash?). But, he could just as easily be gone as determined by the Athletic Department, or possibly the NCAA. $3,000 may not seem like a lot, but I don't think Bomar and Quinn were given a ton more than that either and they had to sit out a year.

this board neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds soothsayers!1!!!
