Wayman dead

Bone cancer is never a good diagnosis but I had hoped he would have more time with his family.

People often say that an athlete is an even better person than they are an athlete. That phrase had to be coined with Wayman in mind. The world would be a better place if there were more people like Wayman in it. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. There is a huge hole in the middle of their lives tonight.

Very well said. Wayman was an amazing man and I truly believe he is the most important figure in the history of OU basketball. If we could all approach life like Wayman Tisdale this would definitely be a better world.
